Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. in North Carolina seeks a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead our diesel truck fleet maintenance.

You will coach technicians, schedule repairs with the M5 Planner, manage parts, and ensure safety and compliance. If you’re a proactive leader with 3+ years in heavy diesel maintenance and 1+ year leading teams, join us. Qualifications

• At least 3 years of heavy diesel truck maintenance experience.
• 1+ year in a leadership or lead tech role.
• Strong knowledge of engines, emissions, hydraulics and air brakes.
• Proficient with schedules and budgets using MS Office.

• Coach & Mentor: You aren’t just a boss; you’re a pro trainer. Lead, inspire, and develop a team of skilled technicians to be the best in the business.
• The Tech Wizard: Use the M5 Planner to schedule repairs, track parts, and ensure our fleet—from heavy-duty trucks to alternative fuel vehicles is in peak condition.
• Safety First, Always: Ensure every bolt is tight and every repair meets our gold-standard safety and federal/state regulations.
• Problem Solver: Dive into complex diagnostics and lead the way on advanced preventive maintenance.
