Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate a CDL B rear-load garbage truck on residential routes.
• Pull and position rolling carts for collection using a semi-automated lift system.
• Operate hydraulic controls to safely empty carts into the truck.
• Exit the truck frequently to collect additional waste, recycling and bulk items.
• Ride safely on the rear step between collection points as required.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Use in-truck technology (tablet) for route management and communication.
• Haul collected materials to disposal and recycling facilities.
• Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations.
• Interact professionally with customers and the public.
