Smirecyclers is seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Manager in Kansas City to lead maintenance operations and supervise a team of skilled technicians. This role is vital for keeping the fleet of commercial trucks compliant and operational.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and extensive knowledge of commercial trucking regulations. Responsibilities include overseeing maintenance schedules, inspecting equipment, and ensuring safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of fleet maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience working with Class 7 and 8 trucks.
• Valid driver’s license required, CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of mechanics, welders, and tire technicians.
• Ensure fleet equipment remains DOT-compliant.
• Conduct or oversee DOT inspections as needed.
