Job summary

Veo is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Operations Manager to lead daily warehouse and fleet maintenance tasks across market sites in the United States. You will ensure scooters and bikes are ready for deployment, drive rider uptime, and lead a high-performing local team.

You will report to the Senior Operations Manager and play a key role in optimizing routes, fleet health, and maintenance workflows, while promoting safety and exceptional vehicle quality in a fast-paced, growing company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years in maintenance/auto repair from diagnosis to repair.
• 1–2 years managing operations for fleets, warehousing, or distribution.
• Comfortable lifting 60 lbs routinely.
• Ownership mindset with bias for action.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Willingness to work various days and shifts.
• Quantitative decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication.
• Passion for dockless bike & scooter sharing and sustainable transportation.
• Commitment to improving the community.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse and maintenance operations.
• Perform tasks including moving scooters, driving vans, and maintaining scooters.
• Set and manage daily routes for hourly maintenance staff.
• Identify gaps in operations metrics and fix them.
• Drive timely fleet health counts and maintenance requests.
• Recruit and train local team.
• Manage inventory and ensure parts are ordered.
