Job summary

Veo is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Operations Manager to lead our dockless micromobility program and ensure a safe, reliable fleet. You will oversee daily warehouse and maintenance activities, drive high-quality repairs, and lead a high-performing team to maximize ridership in your market.

You will report to the Senior Operations Manager in a fast-paced tech environment, coordinating routes, maintenance tasks, and inventory while delivering top-tier service to riders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in maintenance/auto repair, from diagnosis through repair and quality assurance.
• 1-2 years managing operations in fleets, warehousing, distribution, or related fields.
• Capable of lifting 60 lbs routinely.
• Ownership mindset with a bias for action.
• Willingness to work a variety of days and shifts.
• Exceptional communication.
• Commitment to dockless bike & scooter sharing and sustainable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse and maintenance operations
• Perform physical tasks including moving scooters, driving vans, and maintaining scooters
• Set and manage daily routes for hourly associates for maintenance tasks and repair priorities
• Identify gaps in hitting operations metrics and develop solutions to fix them
• Drive timely and accurate submission of fleet health count, weekly operations data updates, and maintenance requests
• Recruit and train local team
• Manage inventory and ensure parts are ordered
