Job summary

Corevac, LLC seeks a dynamic Fleet Manager/Diesel Mechanic to lead maintenance operations across our heavy equipment, trucks, and trailers in Wisconsin. This role blends hands-on mechanical work with leadership to ensure safety and high performance while maintaining thorough records and training the team.

This position requires strong diesel and heavy equipment knowledge, hands-on fabrication skills, and the ability to manage preventive maintenance programs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a diesel mechanic or heavy equipment technician; dealership background preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair, brakes, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Hands-on fabrication, welding, soldering, and equipment assembly.
• Familiarity with schematics for troubleshooting complex issues.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery safely; HVAC knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on diesel engines and heavy equipment.
• Repair transmissions, air brake systems, hydraulics, suspension components, HVAC systems, and electrical systems.
• Oversee fabrication and modifications for specialized machinery.
• Manage scheduled maintenance programs to maximize uptime and safety compliance.
• Lead training for team members on proper vehicle maintenance procedures and safety.
