InsightFS, headquartered in Jefferson, Wisconsin, is seeking a skilled vehicle and equipment mechanic to schedule and perform repairs for staff and location managers. This role includes maintenance of trucks, vans, and farm machinery within a large cooperative network.

You will manage parts inventory, keep service records to meet DOT requirements, and work with safety policies. A high school diploma and 5+ years' related experience are typical, with a valid CDL and Hazmat/tanker endorsements

Qualifikationen

• Normally requires a high school diploma or the equivalent thereof, and 5 years or more of related work experience.
• Skills include fabrication, cutting, welding, bearing replacement, engine service/maintenance (gas & diesel).
• Automotive electrical, brake repair (mechanical & air) and hydraulic troubleshooting/repair.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.

Aufgaben

• Schedules maintenance and repairs of vehicles and equipment as requested.
• Maintains an appropriate inventory of parts necessary for repairs and maintenance.
• Maintains service records of each piece of equipment and vehicle to document a quality maintenance program and meet DOT requirements.
• Responsible for housekeeping of the shop.
• May be required to provide backup to drivers in the Energy and Crops Departments.
• Ability to travel independently and overnight.
