Job summary

Sysco Sacramento, Inc. is seeking an Operations Associate responsible for fueling all delivery equipment and maintaining fluid levels daily. You will coordinate with fleet shop and night warehouse teams to ensure equipment is ready for use and compliant with FSQA schedules.

The role requires basic math, reading comprehension, and clear communication. Training to drive and back-up tractor-trailers will be provided as part of on-the-job development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Responsibilities

• Fuel every piece of delivery equipment daily.
• Check all fluid levels of power equipment daily.
• Assist the fleet shop when needed.
• Work with both fleet shop and night warehouse management to ready equipment for use.
• Wash trailers per FSQA schedule.
• Keep parking lot clean and free of debris.
• Support the night truck spotters to organize the truck yard.
