Patriot Disposal / Apple Valley Waste seeks a Director of Fleet Maintenance to lead maintenance for a diverse fleet within the waste management sector. You will build maintenance programs, manage budgets, and guide a team to operational excellence.

The role focuses on safety, regulatory compliance, and asset longevity while partnering with other departments to align fleet capabilities with service goals. Strong leadership and data-driven decision making are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in fleet maintenance management.
• Master's degree in Business Administration or related discipline.
• Certifications such as CAFM or equivalent.
• Experience with sustainability initiatives and green fleet technologies.
• Budgeting and financial management in a large operation.
• Lean or Six Sigma experience.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute fleet maintenance strategies for reliability and safety.
• Lead and develop the fleet maintenance team.
• Oversee maintenance schedules, inspections, repairs and compliance.
• Prepare and manage fleet maintenance budget and procurement.
• Analyze fleet data to forecast needs and improve processes.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure fleet availability.
• Implement maintenance mgmt systems and reporting tools.
• Ensure compliance with regulations.
