Job summary

Norfolk-Iron- in Norfolk, NE is seeking a Truck Maintenance Coordinator to support the safe and cost-effective operation of the fleet. You will manage parts inventories, process maintenance-related orders, and coordinate roadside repairs while keeping detailed records for leadership.

The role requires strong communication, basic truck/trailer mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with mechanics to keep shop workflow productive. CDL eligibility is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• CDL is preferred or attainable.
• Experience with mechanical systems and parts identification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ordering parts from the generated list.
• Enter invoices from vendors into the TMS system.
• Store delivered parts.
• Maintain accurate part inventory records at all locations.
• Answer driver calls about breakdowns and coordinate repairs.
• Enter accidents into NIM and insurance systems; track repairs and payments.
• Update trucks/trailers at third-party vendors.
• Use forklift to unload parts.
