Job summary
Norfolk Iron is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician in Norfolk, NE to diagnose, repair, and maintain fleets including semi-trucks and trailers. The role supports safety, efficiency, and compliance across multiple locations.
Expect involvement in preventive maintenance, inspections, and collaboration with drivers and operations. CDL is preferred; training and advancement paths are available with a strong benefits package.
Qualifications
- Associates or better in Mechanics.
- Technical/other training or better in Mechanics.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Complete routine services.
- Work closely with drivers and operations teams.
- Repair/maintain fleet vehicles including semi-trucks, cars, pickups, and yard trucks.
- Perform annual Federal inspections.
- Read and complete shop orders and vehicle/equipment records.
- Ensure DOT road safety requirements are met.
