Job summary

Sysco Foods in Houston is seeking an Operations Associate to key maintenance records for fleet equipment into our maintenance software, answer calls from delivery associates and vendors about breakdowns, parts orders, and fuel deliveries.

You will input purchase orders and work orders, coordinate with fleet managers, review parts inventory, and support shop efficiency with timely data entry and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Experience: 1-3 months related experience and/or training.
• Data Entry experience and SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Input all purchase orders into maintenance software.
• Enter all work orders into maintenance software.
• Direct phone calls to fleet managers or others as needed.
• Identify problems and propose solutions to improve shop efficiency.
• Work with other departments within Sysco and maintain inventory of parts.
• Analyze prices from vendors and schedule preventative maintenance.
