Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling in Louisville, KY is seeking a Vehicle Maintenance Service Advisor to manage the day-to-day workflow in the maintenance facility and coordinate repairs with a focus on safety and quality.

You will communicate with management, drivers, and vendors, monitor downtime, and ensure accurate documentation. The role requires OSHA/DOT awareness, SAP/Geotab experience, and a strong customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with repair manuals, electrical wiring, diagnostic software, and schematics to troubleshoot.
• Knowledge of OSHA and DOT.
• Computer skills with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring all work performed is safe and compliant with regulations and policies.
• Regularly communicate with management, operations, vendors, and others on fleet status.
• Maintain quality and safety standards in the maintenance department.
• Coordinate and facilitate maintenance work and repairs; monitor downtime and quality.
• Review maintenance orders and audits to identify training opportunities.
