Job summary

PowerGrid Services is seeking a Transportation Manager to lead end-to-end logistics for our equipment fleet, ensuring DOT compliance, vehicle safety, and efficient cost management. The role coordinates asset movement, Samsara installation, and multi-state registrations across business units.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in transportation/logistics, a logistics-related bachelor’s degree, and hands-on experience with telematics and carrier negotiations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of transportation, logistics, or fleet management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, business, supply chain, or transportation.
• Experience with DOT compliance and vehicle safety.
• Experience with multi-state titles/registrations and IFTA/IRP.
• Experience with telematics or tracking systems.
• Strong communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end equipment movement, DOT compliance, and safety.
• Manage Samsara device installation and data reporting.
• Coordinate vehicle titles, registrations, and multi-state compliance.
• Develop cost analyses and optimize transportation spend.
• Maintain relationships with carriers and auction houses.
