Job summary

PowerGrid Services seeks a Transportation Manager to oversee all point-to-point logistics for the equipment fleet. You will manage the lifecycle of equipment movement, DOT compliance, registrations, and telematics installations to ensure on-time deployment to business units.

You will establish carrier networks, optimize transportation costs, and lead end-of-life disposition including auctions. Requires 5+ years in transport/logistics and a degree in a relevant field.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in transportation, logistics, or fleet management.
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, business, supply chain, or transportation.
• CDL or transportation industry background preferred.
• Experience with multi-state titles/registrations and DOT compliance.
• Strong Excel and data reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate incoming equipment movement and deployment across PowerGrid sites.
• Manage DOT compliance, safety inspections, and regulatory records.
• Oversee title issuance, registration across states, and IFTA/IRP.
• Lead Samsara installation, monitoring, and data reporting.
• Coordinate end-of-life disposition, auctions, and asset retirement.
• Establish relationships with national transport carriers and towing providers.
