City of New York seeks an Investigator (Employee Discipline - 31169) to coordinate fleet operations and ensure compliance across multiple agencies. You will perform field work, data audits, and cross-department liaison to address incidents and inefficiencies.
Remote work up to 2 days per week under the Remote Work Pilot Program; a NY driver license is required and residency may be needed for assignment.
Fleet Liaisons are critical to ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of a fleet of approximately 350 vehicles. This role works closely with oversight agencies, including DCAS Fleet, the Department of Finance, Department of Transportation (DOT), and OMB, as well as internal audit units. By managing vehicle registrations, coordinating service schedules, and ensuring timely maintenance and inspections, the position reduces operational risk, minimizes downtime, and extends vehicle lifespan.
At the time of appointment to this position, you must have a motor vehicle driver license valid in the State of New York. If you have moving violations, license suspension, or an accident record, you may be disqualified. This license must be maintained for the duration of your employment.
This position may be eligible for remote work up to 2 days per week, pursuant to the Remote Work Pilot Program.
