Swift Transportation is seeking a skilled Operations Manager to lead 10+ drivers, optimize fleet productivity, and drive profitability across assigned routes in Katy, LA. The role emphasizes coaching, performance monitoring, and strict adherence to delivery schedules.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in operations or planning, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment. A related Associate degree is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' in Operations and/or Planning and/or Customer Accounts.
• Must be able to lead others.
• Must possess exceptional communication skills.
• Must be able to multi-task.
• Must be able to work in high pressure situations in a fast paced environment.
• Associates degree in Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a fleet of 10+ drivers and manage driver availability to maximize productivity.
• Routinely review P/L for assigned area and maximize profitability.
• Develop high performing drivers through daily interactions, coaching, and reinforcement.
• Meet drive home time expectations by actively managing expectations and keeping commitments.
• Maximize P/L for all assigned tractors and trailers.
• Proactively manage safety performance to control insurance and claims costs.
