Job summary

Cross Environmental Services (CES) in Florida is seeking a skilled Fleet Mechanic to service our fleet of trucks and heavy demolition equipment. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain semis, roll-offs, excavators, and skid steers to minimize downtime.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on diesel, hydraulics, and structural welding expertise, a safety-first mindset, and a valid driver's license. ASE or CDL preferred; benefits include medical, dental, a 401(k), and a company service truck.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience maintaining and repairing commercial diesel trucks and heavy earth-moving equipment.
• Deep technical knowledge of diesel engine diagnostics and hydraulic circuits.
• Strong focus on shop safety, hazardous materials handling, and safe lifting.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

• Inspect and diagnose fleet equipment to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventive maintenance on trucks and heavy equipment.
