Job summary

Shamrock Foods Company is seeking a Fleet Business Manager to oversee the administrative, accounting, and financial functions supporting the Fleet department. You will manage operational accounting tasks, coordinate with Corporate Finance on funding, and ensure compliance in licensing, fuel management, and permitting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in fleet operations, accounting, or admin management.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting and financial reporting.
• Familiar with fuel management, licensing, and vehicle compliance.
• Proficient in MS Excel; ERP systems experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute all operational accounting tasks for the Fleet department.
• Partner with Corporate Finance for fleet funding strategies and budgeting.
• Oversee all accounting, finance, and administrative functions for fleet.
• Track costs and assist in annual budget preparation and financial reporting.
• Lead fleet budgeting efforts in partnership with Corporate Finance.
• Direct fleet asset management including acquisition, disposal, repairs, fuel usage, tax reporting, licensing, and permitting.
• Manage BI reporting and administrative support such as calendar coordination and meetings.
• Maintain vendor relationships related to leasing, fuel, maintenance, and compliance.
• Identify process improvements and lead cross-functional projects.
• Ensure internal controls and documentation; liaise with Finance Managers and staff.
• Hire, train, coach, and motivate staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Coordinate RFPs, vendor contracts, and communications.
• Support monthly close processes and GL reconciliation.
• Provide cross-functional communication for alignment and issue resolution.
• Other duties as assigned.
