Job summary

Shamrock Foods Company in California is seeking an experienced accounting leader to coordinate and report all accounting activity for the Broadline Branch. The role requires managing day-to-day accounting functions, partnering with branch management and leading month-end close.

You will drive budgeting, financial planning, and forecasting analyses, develop 3–5 year models, and benchmark performance against industry peers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; 5+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities including route settlement, GL, AR, AP, and inventory.
• Serve as business partner to branch management.
• Lead month-end analysis and explain variances; propose action plans.
• Provide financial analysis of campus business units.
• Translate data into actionable information for leaders.
• Develop technical expertise in analytical tools and techniques and serve as a resource to others.
• Lead the annual budgeting process for business unit.
• Develop and maintain financial planning models for 3–5 year plans and capital investment analysis.
• Evaluate forecasting tools (Excel) and develop improvement recommendations.
• Participate in evaluating new financial planning tools.
• Develop benchmarking against industry data.
• Maintain communication with business units and headquarters.
• Other duties may be assigned
