Job summary

Rite of Passage is seeking a Vehicle and Farm Equipment Maintenance Worker to uphold the campus fleet and farm equipment at Childhelp, Alice C. Tyler Village in Lignum, VA.

This on-site role emphasizes safety, reliability, and year-round maintenance across vehicles and farm machinery. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of diagnostic and repair experience, a valid driver's license, and be prepared to pass background checks and TB testing.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old and able to pass background checks and TB test.
• Driver's license in good standing required.
• Two years’ experience diagnosing and repairing automobiles or farm equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the campus fleet and farm equipment to keep it ready and safe.
• Perform mechanical repairs on automobiles, trucks, farm machinery, and small engines.
• Handle basic building maintenance tasks as part of daily duties.
• Occasional on-call coverage for nights and weekends as scheduled.
