Job summary

Metro Bus in Minnesota is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance systems for all vehicles, equipment, facilities and grounds. You will supervise the Maintenance Supervisors and Facilities Maintenance Specialist and coordinate with the Chief Operations Officer.

The role requires a four-year degree and five years of management experience, with a valid Class B Minnesota Driver License and DOT medical certification.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in engineering, business administration, or an appropriately related field; five years of management and supervisory experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance systems, oversee continuous improvement of maintenance processes and manage maintenance needs of all Metro Bus vehicles, equipment, facilities and grounds.
• Direct supervision of Maintenance Supervisors and Facilities Maintenance Specialist; indirect supervision of other staff to ensure day-to-day maintenance of equipment and facilities.
• Develop and monitor preventative maintenance intervals, records and budgets; ensure compliance with safety, OSHA and FTA requirements.

Education
