Job summary

Ampam Parks Mechanical is seeking a Fleet Manager in Carson, CA to lead the strategic and daily management of the company’s vehicle fleet and equipment. You will own the full fleet lifecycle—from procurement to preventive maintenance and replacement—collaborating with Purchasing, Operations, and Field Leadership to keep projects on track safely and cost-efficiently.

The role requires 3–6+ years in fleet management, a track record with large fleets, and strong analytical abilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
3–6+ years of fleet management or logistics experience.
Experience managing a fleet of 200+ vehicles or heavy equipment.
Strong knowledge of fleet/asset management systems and PM program design.
Proficient in Excel and reporting; experience with ERP/telematics.
Strong cost analysis skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, purchase new company vehicles and equipment based on total cost of ownership.
Develop vendor relationships for dealers, suppliers, and upfitters.
Prepare business cases, ROI analyses for fleet acquisitions.
Design and manage preventive maintenance schedule for fleet.
Coordinate repairs with internal and third-party vendors.
Maintain fleet records and KPI reporting for leadership.
Support budgeting and forecasting for fleet costs.
Coordinate with Purchasing, Facilities, Field Operations for schedules.
