Job summary

AMPAM Parks Mechanical, Inc. is looking for a Fleet Manager in Carson, CA to lead the company’s vehicle fleet and equipment strategy.

You will own the full lifecycle—from purchasing to preventive maintenance and replacement—collaborating with Purchasing, Operations, and Field Leadership to support a growing multi-family MEP construction operation. The role emphasizes fleet procurement, preventive maintenance design, compliance oversight, asset management, KPI reporting, and budgeting, with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
3–6+ years in fleet management, equipment management, or logistics.
Experience managing 200+ vehicles and/or mixed heavy equipment preferred.
Strong working knowledge of fleet/asset management systems and preventive maintenance program design.
Proficiency in Excel and reporting tools; experience with fleet telematics, ERP systems, or procurement platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

Procure and manage company vehicles and major equipment based on need, TCO, and standardization goals.
Develop and manage vendor relationships for vehicle dealers and outfitters; manage ROI analyses for fleet purchases.
Design, implement, and maintain preventive maintenance schedules; track PM compliance.
Coordinate repairs and service; manage work orders, turnaround time, and costs.
Maintain fleet documentation and KPI reporting for leadership; support budgeting and forecasting.
