Job summary

PureGreen Land Group in Longs, SC seeks an experienced Fleet Manager to oversee the management, maintenance, organization, and accountability of all fleet assets, including vehicles, trailers, heavy equipment, tools, and shop facilities.

The role ensures assets are safe, operational, and available to support daily operations while maximizing lifespan and minimizing downtime. Strong mechanical knowledge and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of fleet, equipment, or maintenance management experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of vehicles, trailers, and equipment.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complete fleet asset management including trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, and shop assets.
• Maintain accurate asset records (serials, VINs, hours, maintenance history, warranties, registrations).
• Develop and oversee preventative maintenance schedules; coordinate repairs with internal mechanics and vendors.
• Monitor fleet costs, safety compliance, and uptime; reduce downtime through proactive planning.
