Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. seeks a Maintenance Supervisor in Greenville, NC to oversee branch maintenance, lead shop personnel, and coordinate safety and repairs of vehicles and equipment.

You will establish preventive maintenance, maintain safety and regulatory records, track expenses, and ensure compliance with company standards while managing inventory and coordinating with operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• DOT certification for air brake inspection and adjustment and certification for Annual Vehicle Inspections.
• Possess a valid CDL within 6 months of hire.
• Prior supervisory experience in a shop or maintenance setting desired.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance staff and satellite shop facilities.
• Directly supervise all employees in the maintenance department.
• Make repairs to vehicles and equipment and follow up on repairs.
• Establish and enforce a preventative maintenance program with scheduling.
• Maintain vehicle inspection, maintenance and safety records per regulations and policy.
• Ensure shop safety and compliance with company standards.
