Job summary

NetJets is seeking a Fleet Engineer to support evaluation, development, and implementation of repairs and modifications on our fleet aircraft. This role ensures compliance with Part 23, 25, 43, 135 and other regulations, providing real-time engineering support for maintenance operations and serving as a bridge between internal teams and external providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in fleet engineering.
• A&P certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze repair and modification requests to determine major vs minor changes per 14 CFR.
• Design and document minor repairs and modifications; escalate major repairs.
• Develop engineering documentation using approved data and methods.
• Ensure compliance with Part 23, 25, 43, 135 and internal standards.
• Maintain accurate engineering documentation for repairs and modifications.
• Provide real-time troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Control, Flight Operations, Technical Services, on-site reps, and crews.
• Collaborate with external MRO facilities worldwide.
• Track project status to meet timelines and standards.
• Support integration of repairs for new and existing fleet.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Engineering.
• Prioritize aircraft and occupant safety.
