Job summary

Transdev North America in Midland, TX is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician (A-Level Fleet Automotive Mechanic) to diagnose, repair, and maintain engines across our fleet. You will work on Dodge, Chevrolet, and Ford engines and contribute to safety and reliability of assets.

The role requires at least 2 years of mechanic experience; CDL preferred; ASE certifications preferred; DOT compliance. We offer a competitive pay range of $22.00–$30.00 per hour, plus vacation, sick days, holidays

Qualifications

• Proven knowledge of and experience working with Dodge, Chevrolet (Chevy), and Ford engines.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mechanic.
• DOT physical exam and drug testing compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues and determine repairs on engines.
• Perform routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and optimize performance.
• Lead diagnostics and develop repair strategies for engines.
• Provide guidance to junior technicians and assist in skills development.
• Complete preventive maintenance, safety inspections, and annual checks.
