Job summary

Transdev North America in Baytown, TX is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain engines across a range of vehicles. You will perform diagnostics, routine maintenance, and lead repairs to ensure safety and reliability.

This full-time role offers $25.00–$30.00 per hour and benefits including vacation, sick days, holidays, 401(k) and health coverage. CDL and ASE credentials are preferred, and mentorship of junior technicians is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Mechanic.
• Experience with Dodge, Chevrolet and Ford engines.
• DOT physical and drug testing compliance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic tests and identify engine issues.
• Perform routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns.
• Collaborate with team to ensure accurate repairs.
• Complete PMs and safety inspections.
• Lead complex diagnostics and overhaul tasks.
• Mentor junior technicians.
