Hirschbach Motor Lines is seeking a Driver Leader to oversee a driver fleet, improve productivity, and uphold Best in Class service. You will monitor performance, coach drivers, coordinate freight, and ensure policy compliance while building strong relationships with operators and internal teams.

Responsibilities include clear driver communication, preplans, performance tracking, and scheduling accuracy, plus supporting safety, pay issues, and occasional terminal travel.

• Understands Hirschbach operations and freight network.
• Maintains professional, respectful communication with drivers and teams.
• Ability to identify retention risks and drive improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily operations of assigned driver fleet and maximize productivity.
• Communicate with drivers, send preplans, and secure load commitments promptly.
• Track driver performance from dispatch through delivery for on-time service.
• Manage driver availability and scheduling with PTAs accuracy.
• Coach drivers on performance improvement and provide training.
• Collaborate with Safety to ensure compliance and coaching.
• Identify and resolve settlement or pay issues with Driver Payroll.
• Attend meetings and travel to terminals as needed.
• Maintain minimum board of 15 drivers and demonstrate leadership.
