Job summary

Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington is seeking a Dispatcher for the Georgetown Operations Center to coordinate truck, trailer and driver movements to stores and donation sites. You will monitor schedules, assign tasks, and maintain status reports.

Ideal candidates have strong English communication, ability to operate in-cab computer systems and knowledge of DOT regulations and vehicle safety. The role requires efficiency, attention to detail and a commitment to safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (not required).
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to operate in-cab computer system for vehicle tracking and electronic logs.
• Knowledge of vehicle safety and DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Direct drivers and assign tasks to meet schedules and company needs.
• Maintain station, store, and trailer status reports.
• Effectively communicate with store, warehouse, ADS, dock and management personnel.
• Coordinate special donations pickups and requests.
• Prepare reports by collecting, documenting and summarizing information.
• Demonstrate safe work practices and support a safety culture.
