Job summary

Evergreen Goodwill of Northwest Washington is seeking a CDL Truck Driver Class A at the Georgetown Operations Center in Seattle, WA. You will operate commercial vehicles to transfer donation containers and processed goods safely and efficiently.

The role requires 21+ years old with 2 years CDL experience or completion of a certified truck driving program, English proficiency, and knowledge of DOT regulations. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old to meet intra/interstate CDL driving rules.
• 2 years CDL driving experience or graduate of a State Certified and Licensed truck driving school.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; communicate effectively.
• Ability to operate in-cab computer system for vehicle tracking and logs.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service.

Responsibilities

• Drive commercial vehicles to designated locations including inner city traffic.
• Drive and maintain company vehicles in a safe, efficient manner.
• Transport donation containers from attended donation centers to Goodwill locations.
• Transport processed goods to outlying stores.
• Transport waste to transfer station.
• Pick up special donations and deliver goods as requested.
• Adhere to Seattle Goodwill and DOT rules and regulations.
• Build and maintain internal and external customer satisfaction.
