Formación

• Minimum one year of trucking industry dispatch experience.
• Data entry skills; Good communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Plans the daily/weekly work schedule of drivers to maximize freight coverage in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
• Communicate and distribute appointment dates/time to drivers; owner operators and/or fleet.
• Communicate and coordinate between all IMC locations to maximize drivers’ time.
• Assist drivers with any equipment issues, detention time, rail billing, and any additional requests made of driver.
• Maintain dispatch lines in SWS from paperwork drivers turn in daily.
• Handle driver service failures with authority to issue verbal and/or written discipline.
• Notify customers of changes and apply additional charges as needed.
• Participate in driver recruiting and retention.
• Oversee Rail/Port pins – reservations – LFD.
• Oversee drivers HOS and ELD updating.
