Job summary

Beacon Mobility is seeking a transportation coordinator to schedule and dispatch drivers and vehicles, relay information, and contact employees to resolve issues. You will prepare daily schedules, manage work orders, and ensure clear communications across territories.

Qualifications

• One year of transportation experience.
• High School diploma.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch drivers, vehicles or equipment to locations according to schedules.
• Relay work orders or messages to and from drivers and driving assistants.
• Use telephones, two-way radios or text messages to contact employees.
• Speak with supervisors or customers to resolve service requests or equipment.
• Prepare daily work schedules.
• Prepare work orders for crew or receive orders from crews.
• Facilitate communications within company territories.
• Keep and organize work requests, charges for work performed, expenses for services, inventory records and other information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
