Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Fleet Manager to oversee the MedTrans fleet's safe and efficient operation, including maintenance, scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and drivers, with strict DOT and company regulatory compliance.

You will optimize routes, train drivers, ensure equipment maintenance, recruit and mentor staff, and lead daily team activities while maintaining compliance and delivering reliable service. The anticipated salary range is $73,000 to $110,000 annually.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience managing and dispatching drivers and use of routing software.
At least 2 years of experience coaching, mentoring and training staff.

Responsibilities

Optimize daily routes and activities based on branch and fleet workloads and available Customer order information.
Ensure all drivers are properly trained according to MedTrans requirements.
Ensure all equipment is properly maintained in accordance with the MedTrans vehicle maintenance policy.
Recruit, hire, train and discipline all drivers.
Conduct regularly scheduled meetings with drivers as required by DOT and/or company policy.
Lead day-to-day activities of employees; assign, monitor and review progress and provide guidance.
