Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Transportation Supervisor (Project Management) to oversee the safe, efficient operation of the MedTrans fleet, including scheduling and dispatching vehicles and drivers, and ensuring DOT compliance.

Responsibilities include route optimization, driver training, and fleet maintenance, with leadership of daily activities and guidance to staff. The role offers bonus eligibility and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience managing and dispatching drivers and using routing software.
• At least 2 years of experience coaching, mentoring and training staff.
• Knowledge of Transportation Costing and Motor Carrier Operations.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Optimize daily routes and activities based on branch and fleet workloads.
• Ensure all drivers are properly trained according to MedTrans requirements.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained.
• Recruit, hire, train and discipline all drivers; conduct regular driver meetings.
• Lead day-to-day activities of employees and provide technical guidance.
