Job summary

Sugar Foods Corporation is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate and dispatch fleet drivers, assist drivers with operational matters, and track on-time delivery. You will reschedule late loads, communicate delays, and optimize routes to reduce deadhead miles.

The role requires 2–5 years in transportation/logistics, DOT/HOS knowledge, and experience with TMS/OTM systems. Strong communication and multi-tasking are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of transportation/logistics experience.
• Knowledge of DOT, HOS rules and regulations.
• Experience with TMS or OTM system preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• PC literate with Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch drivers using OTM and ELD systems.
• Educate drivers and support operations to improve on-time delivery.
• Enter pick-up and delivery appointments into the system.
• Track and communicate delays and reschedule loads as needed.
• Prepare PODs for customers and internal teams.
• Support fleet and operations to develop best practices.
