Job summary

Advance Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily dispatch operations and route planning. You will select trucks, maintain logs, and coordinate shipping and receiving of merchandise to ensure on-time deliveries.

The role requires reliable multitasking, basic data entry, and strong customer service orientation to support store operations and ongoing inventory integrity.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years warehouse experience or similar discipline.
• Ability to speak and write English (Spanish a plus).
• Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers and management.
• Ability to learn the delivery area to coordinate drivers’ deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Select trucks for routes based on volume and equipment availability.
• Maintain dispatch logs with start times, driver, route number, and MHE for each truck.
• Maintain database of customer locations and time windows.
• Investigate complaints about lost/damaged merchandise or shortages.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving of merchandise and schedule deliveries.
• Assemble and fill customer orders within a 30–45 minute window.
• Perform inventory counts and keep records up to date.
