Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED.
• 1 to 2 years’ warehouse experience or similar discipline.

• Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers and management.
• Ability to learn the delivery area to coordinate drivers’ deliveries.
• Knowledge of distribution and transportation industry.

Responsibilities

• Select trucks for routes based on volume and equipment.
• Maintain daily dispatch log with start times, driver, route number, and equipment.
• Maintain customer locations and time windows database.
• Investigate customer complaints regarding lost/damaged merchandise or shortages.
• Ride with drivers to evaluate delivery area and service standards.
• Coordinate shipping and receiving of merchandise.
• Assemble and fill customer orders for 30–45 minute delivery windows.
• Perform inventory and cycle counts.
• Handle store opening/closing, cash, and deposits.
• Keep store and warehouse clean and safe.
