Job description

Reyes Fleet Management is hiring immediately at our Reyes Coca Cola Bottling facility in Alsip, IL. We are seeking a Fleet Diesel Technician B to assist with repairs and maintenance on trailer/tractor equipment.

Shift:

Full-Time 3rd Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 9:00PM - 5:30AM

Pay:

$29.06 per hour

Position Responsibilities:

• Focus on preventative maintenance of fleet diesel equipment, identifying root causes of failures and performing repairs as needed.
• Complete thorough documentation for work orders related to repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Inspect brake systems to ensure proper operation and verify that equipment has the required licensing and registration.
• Use hand tools and power tools such as screwdrivers; perform routine maintenance like oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication.
• Examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and safety devices.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years of related experience.
• Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds.
• Valid Driver’s License to operate company vehicles.
• Own tools meeting minimum requirements.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Technical school certification.
