Job description

Reyes Fleet Management is seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Fleet Technician B to assist with repairs and maintenance on tractor, trailer, and MHE equipment at our Martin Brower shop in Lebanon, IL.

Shift:

Full-Time, Sunday-Wednesday, 5:30 PM - 4:00 AM. OFF Thursday-Saturday!

Pay:

$22.00 - $27.00/hr depending on experience and qualifications

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance on fleet diesel equipment, identifying root causes of basic failures and performing repairs as needed.
• Complete detailed documentation for work orders related to repairs and maintenance.
• Inspect brake systems to ensure proper operation and verify that equipment has the required licensing and registration.
• Use hand and power tools, such as screwdrivers, to perform routine maintenance like oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication.
• Examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and safety devices.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED and at least 2 years of related experience.
• Ability to frequently lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift 100 pounds.
• Valid Driver’s License to operate company vehicles.
• Own tools meeting minimum requirements.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Technical School Certification.
