Job summary

PS Logistics, LLC in Birmingham, AL seeks a Maintenance Technology Specialist (Support Admin) to ensure fleet reliability through advanced diagnostics and data analysis. You will monitor telematics, diagnose issues, and recommend corrective actions to minimize downtime.

You will collaborate with fleet operations, provide training on diagnostic tools, and help implement predictive maintenance programs and new technologies across our transportation network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years in training and/or logistics/supply chain management required.
• Previous maintenance support experience preferred.
• Experience in the transportation industry preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good judgment and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze vehicle telematics, onboard diagnostics (OBD), and maintenance records to identify performance issues.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and software to assess system health and recommend maintenance actions.
• Utilize diagnostic software and OEM tools to assess vehicle health and recommend corrective actions.
• Data Analysis & Predictive Maintenance: Interpret sensor data, fault codes, and maintenance logs to detect patterns and forecast potential failures.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to support predictive maintenance strategies.
• Technical Support & Collaboration: Act as a technical liaison between fleet operations and maintenance personnel.
• Provide training and support on diagnostic tools and procedures to maintenance personnel.
• System & Process Optimization: Recommend updates to maintenance procedures based on diagnostic findings.
• Assist in the implementation of condition-based and predictive maintenance programs.
• Support integration of new diagnostic technologies and systems.
