Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Philadelphia seeks an Auto Body Damage Manager to lead the fleet services function, overseeing vehicle damage repair and in-fleeting/de-fleeting to maximize fleet utilization and profitability. You will drive safety, efficiency, and accountability while building a high-performing team.

Responsibilities include developing operating plans, monitoring KPIs, managing vendors, and ensuring timely repair orders and invoices with a focus on cost control and cycle time reduction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; 2+ years of management experience preferred.
• Experience in rental car or automotive service environments is a plus.
• Strong financial acumen and vendor negotiation skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead damage operations for fleet damage repair and in-/out-fleeting of vehicles.
• Set goals and monitor KPIs like cost per estimate and cycle time.
• Manage body shop relationships and negotiate repair rates.
• Oversee hiring, training, and performance management of staff.
• Ensure safety policies and company guidelines are followed and enforced.
