Job summary

Avis Budget Group is hiring a Fleet Coordinator for Zipcar in Philadelphia. You will guide a field team to keep our fleet ready for members, coordinating repairs, movements, and asset disposition with internal teams and external vendors.

You’ll update our work management platform with repair progress, ETA, and notes, helping ensure on-time deliveries and availability for customers. This role blends hands-on operations with logistics coordination.

Qualifications

• Strong relationship building skills.
• Background working with third party vendors.
• Experience with online ticket based workflows is strongly preferred.
• Logistics background is preferred.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the repair life cycle of vehicles with ABG supply chain partners and third party vendors.
• Be hands on in keeping the fleet available and moving vehicles as needed.
• Update the work management system with ETA, notes, and ticket closure.
• Secure in-fleets units, branding, key tethering and up-kitting.
• Schedule de-fleets units for disposal.

As a Fleet Coordinator, you will use technology to guide your team in the field to ensure our fleet of vehicles are ready for our members. Vehicles should be clean, in good condition, and ready to drive – this all depends on you. You will work internally with your team as well as externally with our various vendors to keep everyone on time, organized, and where they need to be.

What You'll Do:

• Coordinating the repair life cycle of our vehicles from the time they require repair to the time they go back on the grid for rent. This includes working with ABG supply chain partners, third party maintenance vendors, third party shuttling companies, towing vendors, and impound recovery facilities
• Be hands on in helping keep the fleet available to customers, moving vehicles around the lot and going into the field occasionally to assist with work tickets.
• Updating Zipcar’s platform (work management system) daily with ETA’s of when vehicles will be complete, any pertinent notes to the repair process, and closing out the ticket loop once complete.
• Securing in-fleets units from ABG --- which includes requesting units, branding, key tethering, and up-kitting
• Scheduling de-fleets units for disposal
• Be hands on in helping keep the fleet available to customers, moving vehicles around the lot and going into the field occasionally to assist with work tickets
