Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking a Fleet Operations Associate to support our Zipcar operations around Detroit. You’ll help ensure vehicles are clean, maintained and ready for members, often traveling by foot, bike or Zipcar between locations.

The role is frontline and hands-on: assisting with tires, fuel, cleaning, and coordinating tows or repairs. Expect 40-hour weeks including days, evenings, weekends and holidays, outdoors, with a valid driver's license.

• Excellent communication with operations team for vehicle status updates.
• Flexibility to work 40-hour weeks including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to carry tools and marketing materials up to 50 lbs.

As a Fleet Operations Associate, you will work all around the city as part of our Fleet Operations Team to ensure cars are clean, maintained and transport them to where they need to be for our Zipcar members. You'll zip around by foot, bike, public transit or use a Zipcar to ensure our vehicles are 'member-ready' - this might mean changing a tire, filling the gas tank, cleaning, or helping to coordinate a tow or repair.
