Job summary

Darling Ingredients is seeking a Fleet Operations Administrator to oversee the Comdata fuel card program and Diesel fuel management, including Bulk fuel supplier contracts. You will guide internal and external clients on onsite and offsite fuel programs and manage the addition of new units and drivers.

You will coordinate with bulk suppliers, provide IFTA reporting data, and collaborate with the Fleet Technology team on fuel-related projects while supporting Fleet Compliance.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative role within a Fleet Company.
  • Demonstrates high ethical practices with exceptional decision making.
  • Ability to measure and report operational.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment, managing multiple tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
  • Ability to prioritize work to meet Fleet requirements.
  • Ability to travel when required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the Comdata fuel card program and Diesel fuel management including bulk fuel supplier contracts.
  • Provide guidance to internal and external clients regarding onsite and offsite fuel programs.
  • Add new Units and drivers to the Comdata program as needed.
  • Support locations with Bulk fuel programs and coordinate with bulk fuel suppliers.
  • Provide IFTA fuel tax reporting data from our fuel suppliers.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Fleet Technology on fuel-related projects.
  • Assist Fleet Compliance Coordinators and act as backup when needed.
  • Report and escalate non-compliant fleet fuel concerns.
