Darling Ingredients in Jackson, MS is looking for a Mechanic 2 to keep all fleet vehicles roadworthy and ready for service. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose brakes and diesel powertrains, and handle routine repair work.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED, vocational training or experience, and willingness to work in varied environments with safety as a priority. CDL is preferred but not required.

Performs all preventive maintenance and repair work necessary on fleet trucks/ trailers and other company equipment. Responsible for general day-to-day operation of vehicle maintenance and repair of all company trucks/trailers and other company equipment. Maintains clean environment.
