Job summary

Fred Smith Company in Raleigh, NC seeks a Fleet CDL Foreman to lead our Fleet Division on-site. You will supervise CDL crews, organize daily dispatch, and oversee safe, timely delivery of heavy equipment and fuel trucks to active job sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of specialized heavy civil transport experience with supervisory duties.
• Deep understanding of motor carrier regulations, required permits, and commercial vehicle operations.
• Experience driving Lowboys and hauling heavy equipment, as well as fuel truck operations.
• Must hold NC Class A CDL with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Crews: Direct and organize daily dispatch for assigned CDL drivers.
• Manage Logistics: Ensure efficient, safe, and timely delivery of equipment and materials.
• Enforce Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to traffic laws, safety protocols, and weight limits.
