Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of verifiable experience as a Fleet Care Supervisor.
• Supervise a large group of employees engaged in Utility/Fuel work.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Analyze operating problems and develop effective actions.
• Train personnel and coordinate schedules and assignments.
• Read and write in English and follow written and oral instructions.
• Perform basic math for chemical mixing, surface area, and labor calculations.
• Must be computer literate and maintain good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Maintains yard and fuel island efficiency by delegating workload to Fleet Care Workers, fuelers and probers.
• Ensure vehicle interiors and exteriors are cleaned and presentable.
• Keep vehicle interior cards up to date.
• Communicate with parts to order supplies.
• Coordinate with maintenance and operations on special event vehicles.
• Identify vehicles that went into service each day with dispatch.
• Identify out-of-service vehicles and those coming from the shop.
• Coordinate with supervisors/lead technicians.
• Maintain clean work area and storage areas at shift end.
• Ensure adequate supplies for all utility and fueler personnel.
• Cone off fire lanes / emergency areas at shift end.
• Report safety issues to Maintenance Manager; document accidents or concerns.
• Report fuel island, wash bay and lot issues; contact clean energy as needed.
• Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
• Monitor productivity levels; submit daily cleaning, fuel logs, and probing sheets.
• Work night shifts and weekends as required.
• Conduct daily meetings with Utility and fuelers.
• Ensure breaks and lunches are taken on time.
• Perform other duties as requested.
