Job summary

Lhoist North America seeks a dependable truck loader/operator to ensure safe, efficient loading and accurate shipment documentation. Responsibilities include inspecting trailers for contaminants and verifying correct product types and weights are loaded.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, 1–2 years in a load-out environment, and a CDL. Candidates must be able to work shift schedules and operate basic computer controls.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience in a load-out environment.
• CDL required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a smooth and efficient flow of truck loading.
• Inspect trailers and railcars prior to loading to ensure they are free from contaminants.
• Distribute different product types into appropriate trucks and load correct weights.
• Complete bill of lading for truck shipments.
• Train new employees on equipment related to load out and fuel charging areas.
• Perform daily equipment checks and keep scales clean.
• Adhere to safety rules and lock out/tag out procedures.
